BCMS teacher returns to classroom after allegations

A Boundary County teacher placed on administrative leave after an incident allegedly involving inappropriate use of a knife in the classroom has returned to duty.

Because it is a personnel matter, little information can be released, but School District 101 Superintendent Jan Bayer said the district and the Bonners Ferry Police Department School Resource Officer conducted investigations.

“Based on the current investigation, the teacher has returned to duty,” Bayer said. “If additional information becomes available it will be addressed.”
