Freeze warning tonight

A freeze warning is in effect for the Idaho Panhandle, northwest Washington and the northern Cascades from 1 to 8 a.m. Wednesday, with temperatures as low as 27 degrees possible.

In Bonners Ferry, the snow level will drop from 5,500 to 3,000 feet with an overnight low of 34-degrees expected. Expect southwest winds at five to 15 miles and hour with gusts to around 25 miles an hour, and a high Wednesday of 58 degrees with a slight chance of scattered showers.

The snow level will climb to 5,000 feet overnight Wednesday, Thursday will be a cool, wet one with 52-degrees for a daytime high and a 70-percent chance of rain, the cloudy with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s for the weekend and into next week.
