As a community service, the Kootenai Valley Times on occasion helps families who lose their homes to fire or other disaster by serving as a collection point for contributions, and sometimes those contributions go unclaimed. Because we are not set up for long-term storage and have no way of returning the items, KVT will hold a yard non-sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 3, or until all is gone.
There is a variety; most still unseen in the boxes and bags they were delivered in – clothes, toys, household items, even a dining room table and chairs.
At the KVT Yard Non-Sale, all will be available for free to whomever might need them, with donations gladly accepted, all to be divided equally between The Pearl Theater, Second Chance Animal Adoption and Bonners Ferry Community Action Agency.
If fair, the KVT Yard Non-Sale will be on the lawn outside our office at 6931 Main Street, Bonners Ferry, if inclement, we’ll have both the front and back doors open. Just look for the sign and the bright yellow bench. For more information, call (208) 295-1016.
