A Boundary County School District 101 Maintenance & Operations levy will be the first item to be voted on in 2021 by local voters, with the election to be held March 9, and absentee ballots for those requesting them will start being mailed next week.
“Each year the State of Idaho indicates that if you wish to receive an absentee ballot you need to apply,” Boundary County Clerk Glenda Poston said. “With that being said we will only be sending out ballots to those that have requested that for 2021.”
To request an absentee ballot online, click here. You’ll need to be a registered voter in the county, and have your Idaho drivers license or ID card and the last four digits of your social security number.
You can also download a paper application, fill it out and mail it to the clerk’s office or visit the clerk’s office.
The deadline to request an absentee ballot for the March 9 election is 5 p.m. Friday, February 26.
