Flags for fallen pilots at half staff until sunset Friday

Flags in Idaho will remain at half mast until sunset Friday, February 12, in honor of three Idaho Army National Guard pilots killed in a helicopter late Tuesday night, February 2.

Killed on a routine training flight when their UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter crashed south of Lucky Peak near Boise were Chief Warrant Officer 4 Jesse Anderson, 43, Chief Warrant Officer 3 George “Geoff” Laubhan, 39, and Chief Warrant Officer 3 Matthew Peltzer, 43.

Pursuant to Idaho Code, flags remain at half mast until the day following the final memorial service of those being honored.
