Look for snow in the Panhandle Saturday

The National Weather Service, Spokane, issued a winter weather advisory for North Idaho, in effect from 4 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

One to three inches of snow is expected, with four inches possible between Sandpoint and Clark Fork.

Temperatures are expected to rise through the afternoon, making a transition to rain likely in the Coeur d’Alene area and south, but it is expected to remain cold enough to continue as snow northward, making travel difficult.
