Oooh, noooo Idaho legislature

No matter your opinion on how Governor Little handled an unprecedented event, your “This is Idaho,” “This is Not Us,” “This is not Who We Are” legislators are using it to grab power.

Not working on property tax, not working on funding schools, not working on fee increases for out of state invaders (parks), etc. Nooooooo…

Heather Scott introduced a bill that would deny Idaho FEMA money. When asked about it, she didn’t think it was that big of a deal.

Windstorm, ice storm, wildfire, snow-apocalypse anyone?

Of course, it’s no big deal to them. They will soon live in Boise year around and all services will be restored to cities first.

A slow, steady drip, drip, drip to declaring a full time, year-round legislature began several years ago with $10 million for new offices, $600k-plus spent to sue the State Treasurer, the recent change to the state constitution on legislative districts, it will save you money … the same legislature that ran away when told a pandemic was coming has built the dikes/berms that will hold the swamp.

Now they are using the pandemic to fill it. Nooo, Mr. Bill. Not in Idaho…we’re too great! Vote.
