Deputies to focus on aggressive driving

Deputies with the Boundary County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting extra patrols between February 1 and 15 looking primarily for aggressive drivers. Through a partnership with the Idaho Transportation Department Office of Highway Safety this emphasis patrol will allow deputies to focus on some of the problem areas without taking away from their normal patrol duties.

Especially this time of year, when our roads can change from wet to icy conditions so quickly, it is important to pay attention to road conditions and your driving.

Aggressive driving can not only cause you to wreck but may cause an accident with someone who is obeying the traffic laws.

Please help us by not driving aggressive, always wear your seatbelt, and of course no texting while driving.
