Today’s Badger girl’s game against the Kellogg Wildcats, which begins at 4:30 p.m. at Bonners Ferry High School, is going to be special, as the team’s five seniors will be honored before the game begins at 4:30 p.m.
But, like nearly all things celebratory in this era of pandemic, it will be a muted affair, with a minimal audience. For all who can’t be there to cheer the girls now in their final season as Bonners Ferry Badgers, the games today will be broadcast live on Boundary County Live, and we hope viewership is high.
The five seniors being honored tonight are Sadie Hill, Sierra Hill, Holly Ansley, Anna Bliss and Emma Pinkerton, and each has left a positive and indelible mark on our community and at Bonners Ferry High School.
Even then, it still won’t be the same, and we think these hard working and talented athletes deserve far more. So we are asking everyone in the community to add your best wishes, both here, by leaving a comment below, and or on our Facebook page. They can be to individual seniors or to the group, but please let them know how much we appreciate them for all they’ve given representing the community!
