Snow advisory issued for far North Idaho

The National Weather Service, Spokane, has issued a winter weather advisory for Boundary and Bonner Counties, in effect from 4 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 15.

A weather system will bring snow to the Inland Northwest starting Tuesday morning and last through the afternoon. The heaviest snow is expected to fall late morning and taper off by the evening hours. Snow may linger in the Panhandle through much of the evening.

From two to four inches of snow is expected.
