The 72nd Annual FFA Harvest Auction will be an online event this year. The auction opened Sunday and closes at 11:59 p.m. Saturday December 12. There are a few items available as “Buy It Now” items.
“We wish our auction could be in person in order to keep the tradition alive, in order to see our stakeholders and shake your hand, in order to talk with you, our neighbors and supporters, in order to share a meal together, and in order for our amateur auctioneers to humor you,” organizers said, “but such is not the case this year as 2020 has brought many challenges.”
Despite these challenges, all involved are striving to keep traditions alive and to educate the next generation of agriculturalists and leaders.
“We value your support of the agriculture education program and hope that you find many items you cannot live without!” they said.
Auction proceeds support agriculture education at Bonners Ferry High School by providing scholarships to members for district, state and national leadership conventions, career development events, by providing funds for community service projects, supervised agriculture experience projects and helping enrich the agriculture education curriculum at Bonners Ferry High School.
