Boundary County Jail meets Idaho standards for fourth year

Detention Sergeant Bryant Brown holds the recently awarded 2020-2021 certificate of compliance for Boundary County Jail that was recently received.

The certificate was issued in November following an inspection and showing that the Boundary County Jail is in compliance with the Idaho Sheriff’s Association Jail Standards for Detention Facilities.

“This is the fourth year in a row that the Boundary County Jail has met the jail standards,” Sheriff David Kramer said. “I am very proud of the dedicated work of all of the employees that have and continue to make our jail in compliance. With the jail being around 40 years old, it takes a lot of work to meet these standards and to stay in compliance.”
