Silver Alert canceled, man found safe

UPDATE: Found safe in Asotin County Wednesday!

The Idaho State Police is encouraging North Idaho residents to be on the lookout for an elderly Spokane man missing since November 15.

Washington State has activated a silver alert for Michael Lehan, 79, who may be driving a red 2003 Honda Accura bearing Washington plates AFR9748, with tabs that expired in 2018.

Lehan’s family called him Sunday to remind him they’d be picking he and his dog up Monday for a veterinary appointment. When they arrived, Lehan, his dog and vehicle were missing.

Lehan, who lives at W4509 Northwest Boulevard, was in the process of being tested for dementia. He is described as a balding white male with brown eyes. He is five feet, 10 inches tall and weighing 195 pounds.

Anyone with information should call their local police or the Spokane Police Department, (509) 456-2233.
