Boundary County School District 101 has its first confirmed case of COVID-19 in a member of school staff, with that person currently self-isolating to avoid spreading the illness to others.
It was one of 44 cases confirmed today in the Idaho Panhandle, bring the cumulative case count to 3,690, with 62 dead.
Boundary County now has 62 cases, nine of them active, Benewah County has 157 cases, Shoshone 214, Bonner 377 and Kootenai County 2,880.
Statewide, 660 cases confirmed today bring the total count to 45,082, with 492 Idahoans dead.
In Montana, another bad day, with 504 newly confirmed cases bring the state total to 15,347, with 10,172 recovered and 4,983 active cases, 216 of the hospitalized as of 5 p.m. Montana has lost 192 of its citizens to COVID-19.
Lincoln County had four new cases confirmed Monday, three more confirmed today, bringing the total number of cases in the county to date to 155, with 111 people recovered, 41 cases still active and three in the the hospital. Three Lincoln County residents have died of the illness.
In Creston, they are counting their blessings with thanks, and already looking ahead to Thanksgivings “large in thanks but small in size.”

The Interior Health Region had eight new confirmed cases today, bringing the total count to 556, two in the district have succumbed to COVID.
Province-wide, 102 new cases confirmed today, bringing the total to 9,841.
A slight dip in the number of new cases across the United States, with only 39,548 confirmed; 361 more Americans are today being mourned.
In Canada, a new high daily case count with 2,804 cases confirmed. The previous worst day, May 3, saw 2,760. There were 23 more CVID-19 deaths in Canada today.
According to Johns Hopkins, as of 6:23 p.m. Eastern time today, 7,496,029 U.S. citizens have now had the illness and 210,812 Americans have died.
Canada has now had 173,756 cases and 9,582 deaths.
Globally, there have now been 35,681,852 novel coronavirus infections and 1,047,731 human beings have died.
