At about 8 p.m. Tuesday, the Boundary County Sheriff’s Office received a call from a man in the Curly Creek area of Boundary County who reported that there had been a shooting and that a house was on fire.
He said that his wife was inside of the residence and that he was not able to get to her.
Deputies responded with Boundary Ambulance, Curly Creek Fire, North Bench Fire, Paradise Valley Fire and South Boundary Fire with assistance from Bonners Ferry Police Officers.
Investigators from the Idaho State Police and the Idaho State Fire Marshal Office are assisting with the investigation.
The investigation is ongoing. No charges have been filed at this time.
