Guardians of the Flame for Special Olympics

Law enforcement Officers around the world are considered the “Guardians of the Flame” carrying the Torch to the start of Special Olympic Games through what is known as the Law Enforcement Torch Run, and the largest grass roots fundraising for Special Olympic Athletes.

Due to Covid-19 the Idaho Law Enforcement Torch Run did not take place this year, but the Torch is still making a tour around the State.  The Torch was brought to our Sheriff’s Office this morning at 8am by Kristi Kraft from Special Olympics Idaho.
